Regional Trails

The Rock Creek Trail is an 8-mile long mostly unpaved pathway located in Boulder County, Colorado. The trail starts in the north where it connects to the Coal Creek Trail then heads south through designated open spaces roughly following Rock Creek to a point north of U.S. 36. The trail goes under the Northwest Parkway and connects to trails in the Broomfield area. There is a gap is the trail to the point where it connects with the U.S. 36 Bikeway and the trail continues to the southwest through the community of Superior.

You will hear the cry of the Meadow Larks and the Red Wing Blackbirds, maybe catch a glimpse of a fox or a coyote and see the native flora that still exists in this area.
